American Academy of Ophthalmology
The American Academy of Ophthalmology is world’s largest association of eye physicians and surgeons – Eye M.D.s – with more than 27,000 members worldwide. American Optometric Association
The American Optometric Association represents approximately 36,000 doctors of optometry, optometry students and paraoptometric assistants and technicians.  To find an optometrist in your area, please visit www.aoadrlocator.org.

CDC Vision Health Initiative
The Vision Health Initiative (VHI) is designed to promote vision health and quality of life for all populations, throughout all life stages, by preventing and controlling eye disease, eye injury, and vision loss resulting in disability.

National Eye Health Education Program, National Eye Institute
Through its National Eye Health Education Program (NEHEP), the National Eye Institute conducts large-scale public and professional education programs in partnership with national organizations. NEHEP focuses on early detection and timely treatment of glaucoma and diabetic eye disease and the appropriate treatment for low vision.
