About the Council

Welcome to the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) Healthy Aging Council webpage.  On behalf of the membership, thank you for your interest in our Council.   The purpose of the Healthy Aging Council is to facilitate the efforts of state health departments in addressing healthy aging through public health action. We hope that you'll find the information and resources here useful.

If you are not already a member, join us!  Voting membership is made up the Healthy Aging designee from each state, territory, district, commonwealth, or tribal organization.  Regular membership is open to anyone working in a state health department.  Associate membership is open to anyone interested in healthy aging and public health.  I invite you to become more involved in the Healthy Aging Council.  With your help, we can make a difference.  For more information on the Council, please contact me or Carol McPhillips-Tangum.  Thank you again for your interest!

Sincerely,

Anita Albright
