What We Do
The Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention and Control Council works to enhance leadership and mangement skills of NBCCEDP Program Directors and Managers through active workgroups and committees. Also active under the leadership of the B & C Council is the WISEWOMAN committee, a group composed of agencies involved in a CDC initiative offering cardiovascular education, screening and follow-up and the Colorectal Cancer Committee, a newly funded CDC initiative offering screening for early detection of this preventable disease. PDs of agencies offering these initiatives and others with an interest in these programs are welcomed on these committees.
